Sand Gnats! If you know, you know. They are much more annoying and painful than mosquitoes and no one has dedicated their research and time towards ridding your yard of these nuisances, until now.
At Griffin Pest Control, We have spent years testing and trying many products that will both repel and eradicate these pests. We want to both control these pests and preserve non-nuisance pests. By using an organic substance, our spray is both safe for people, pets, and plants and detrimental to mosquitoes, sand gnats, fleas, ticks, roaches, and many more insects. Yet, it does not harm bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. This is important to us and important for the beautiful flowers and plants in the Low Country and the Coastal Empire.
The products we use are all-natural. They use different plant oils to repel and different natural substances to kill the intended pests. It is safe to venture into the yard immediately after an application is done. It dries clear and leaves behind a fresh, citrus smell that is fresh and enjoyable.
With synthetic insecticides, you must keep kids and pets off the lawn for at least 30 minutes while it dries. It leaves behind a residue that kills insects upon contact, but it does not repel the pests. It is not discriminant in its killing properties. If a bee or a butterfly lands on a structure or plant that has the residual, they will be killed as well. It lasts longer, but has serious ill-effects on both nature and our beautiful pollinators.
Our product needs to be refreshed every 3-4 weeks to keep your yard free from biting insects all summer. It is typically applied starting in March and lasting until November. While the temperatures are in a range that are hospitable for these nuisances, control is needed so you can continue to enjoy the great outdoors.
